Winifred M. Greco

Winifred M. Greco, 91, of Barnegat, NJ sadly passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, surrounded by her devoted family. She was born on June 18th, 1933, in Jersey City, NJ to George and Winifred Waidelich. She was affectionately known as "Winnie" to her friends and family. Winifred graduated from Union High School in Union, NJ and later raised her family in Millington. She spent many years as an Executive Secretary at AT&T, where her exceptional skills and professionalism earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues.

Winifred was a meticulous homemaker, taking pride in maintaining an immaculate and welcoming home. Organization was second nature to Winifred, and this trait shone brightly in her ability to remember every birthday and anniversary, making each family member and friend feel special. She was passionate about reading, crossword puzzles, and tending to her beautiful garden. Her many talents included sewing, crocheting, and playing the piano/organ. She was an exceptional cook, always putting time, effort, and love into each meal she shared with family and friends. Above all, Winifred was devoted to her entire family, providing boundless love.

Winifred is predeceased by her beloved husband, Joe and her cherished grandson, Eric. She is survived by her two loving children and their spouses, John and Karyn Greco, Donna and Rick Courtney, and three wonderful grandchildren, Michael and his wife, Jessica, Christopher, and Stefanie.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on December 19th at St. Mary's Church, 747 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ 08005. Private Cremation to follow. Barnegat Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
