William J. Graydon

William J. Graydon, 76, of Barnegat, NJ, passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 30, 2020.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, he formerly resided in Lakewood from 1977-2004.  William was a US Army Vietnam Veteran, where he was wounded on April 13, 1968 & received the Purple Heart & other accommodations for his act of heroism. He was affectionally known as Bill, Babe, Papa & Uncle Bill.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine for 51 years of a wonderful marriage which produced two sons, Brian Christopher Graydon and Eric William Graydon. He is also survived by his beloved granddaughter Madison Graydon, and daughter in laws Amanda Graydon and Tammy Ceparano.
He worked for 34 years as a drywall finisher for Local 1976 & District Council 711.  He enjoyed his retirement and doting on his family and his beloved friends Michele, Eddie, Jessica & Alexa Kilfara. He was a great person, and even better husband, father and friend.
