William E. Wiseman, of Barnegat, New Jersey, passed peacefully on May 5th. Born on January 1, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York, Bill was the beloved son of William and Frances Wiseman, and the youngest of three children, with two older sisters, Marian and Claire.
At a young age, Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army. After returning home, he met, fell in love with and married Betty Adinolfi, beginning a lifelong partnership built on love and devotion that lasted 55 years until Betty’s passing..
A dedicated and hardworking man, Bill continued his education at night while working, ultimately earning his Master’s Degree from Pace University and Long Island University—a testament to his determination and commitment to bettering himself and providing for his family. Bill was deeply involved in his community, generously sharing his time and financial expertise. He served as a trustee and contributed to numerous finance committees, always willing to lend his knowledge wherever it was needed, including within his church. He was a founding member of the Italian and American Club, a longtime member of the Optimist Club, and a dedicated supporter of animal rights organizations.
He found great joy in movies, television, books, history, and the stock market, and was always ready with the perfect movie or TV quote for any situation.
Bill is survived by his loving daughter, Elizabeth; his sister-in-law, Lucille; and a host of nieces,
nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and even a great-great niece.
Above all, Bill will be remembered for his kindness, patience, and caring nature. His family and friends meant the world to him. He was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
