William L. Miller

William L. “Nink” Miller, 69, of Barnegat passed peacefully at home on Friday, April 24, 2020. Born in West Blocton, AL to his late parents, Calvin and Doris Miller, he was raised in Perth Amboy, NJ and is a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. In 1974 he met and married the love of his life, Mary Ellen (Archy) and they enjoyed boating together for years at Bobs Bay Marina, making wonderful lifelong friends. They loved the town of Barnegat and decided to become permanent residents in 1989. 

Surviving are his beloved wife of 45 years, Mary Ellen Miller; his loving daughter, Carolyn and husband Roger Jones (the son they never had); his cherished grandson, Riley William Jones; two brothers, Timothy and wife Nora Miller and their son Tim, Calvin Miller, Jr. and his family.

Relatives and friends will be directly notified as to the date and time of the viewing and services being held at the Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ 08005. (www.BarnegatFH.com) Due to the restrictions currently in place the family hopes to be able to hold a celebration of his life in the summer.
