Virginia M. Melchiondo

Virginia "Ginny" Melchiondo, 76, of New Gretna, NJ passed on Monday, May 5, 2025. Born Oct 26, 1948 In DuBois, PA, she was raised in Fairless Hill, PA where she attended school and graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1966. She married Jeff Sr. in 1971 and eventually moved to Barnegat where they resided for 41 years before moving to New Gretna.

Ginny worked as a book keeper throughout her life for local businesses, retired in 1998 and spent many years with the Barnegat Chamber of Commerce volunteering her time and elevating Pirates Day from infancy stages, along with being instrumental in the start up of the Barnegat Farmer’s Market.

Surviving are; her husband of 54 years Jeff Sr; Two children, Jeff Melchiondo Jr and wife Staci and John Melchiondo; 4 grandchildren Deegan, Mason, Percy and Natalia.
