Vincent “Rich” D’Angelo, of Manahawkin, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8th. Born in Teaneck, NJ to his late parents Nicolas D’Angelo and Mary (Marino) D’Angelo. Rich was an Army Veteran and worked most of his life as a Paramus Police Officer, retiring as a Detective Lieutenant, in the Juvenile Division.
He graduated from Fairleigh Dickenson University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and spent many years as a social worker for The New York State in Orange County after his decorated police career.
Rich is survived by his wife of 44 years, Deborah D’Angelo, sons Kevin and Scott Shea, Andrew D’Angelo and predeceased by son Richard D’Angelo.
No services will be held in the immediate future, but a celebration of life memorial date will be released later.
