Thomas Martin Reynolds of Barnegat, New Jersey, born on May 8, 1930 in Leitrim Village County Leitrim Ireland, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025, with his beloved family at his side.
He was married to Mary Greenan Reynolds. He is survived by his children Thomas Michael Reynolds (Erika), Martin Joseph Reynolds (Shirley), Mary Patricia Gifford (Scott), Jerry Francis Reynolds and Bernadette Reagan (John), and eleven grandchildren. He is predeceased by his siblings: John-Joe, Manorhamilton, County Leitrim; Kathleen McKenna, Westchester, NY; Michael Reynolds, Pawling, New York; Kevin Reynolds, Bronx, New York; Maurice Reynolds, Bronx New York. Thomas is survived by siblings Theresa Corcoran, Rockland County, NY; William Reynolds, Yonkers, NY.
After arriving in the U.S. from Ireland, Thomas lived with his wife and children in Inwood, NY and attended Good Shepherd Parish. They first moved to Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Highland Lakes NJ and finally to Barnegat, NJ and joined St. Mary’s Parish. Thomas worked for many years for the Grand Union in Carlstadt, NJ and was a disabled American Veteran.
The family will receive friends on Saturday March 15th, from 11:00-12:00 at the Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 P.M. at St. Mary’s Church in Barnegat. Interment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
