Stephen W. Hopkins

Sunday, May 23, 2021, Stephen Walter Hopkins, loving husband and father of three children, passed away at the age of 70. Stephen was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 15, 1950 to Elizabeth and Walter Hopkins. On May 19, 1973, he married his highschool sweetheart, Jeanette Loretta DiAngelo. Together they raised one son, Stephen, and two daughters, Megan and Brittany. 
Stephen led an adventurous life and loved to travel with his family. He was known for his kind heart and selfless nature with an innate ability to brighten the lives of others. There is nothing he cherished more than spending time with his family. His children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life. Stephen will truly be missed but not forgotten. 
Stephen is survived by his wife Jeanette, his three children, Stephen, Megan, and Brittany; his four grandchildren Brady, Ashley, Levi and Ava; his sister Lisa; brother Scott and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Saint Mary’s Parish, 747 W. Bay Ave, Barnegat, NJ 08005 at 10:00 AM. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
