Sidonia V. Campos

Sidonia V. Campos, 88, of Barnegat passed on August 12, 2021. She was born in Staten Island, NY and grew up in Brooklyn. She met the love of her life, Joseph Campos, in high school and they were married on September 4, 1955 for almost 60 years. They moved to the suburbs of Long Island settling in Port Jefferson, NY and lived there for 32 years. During that time, Sidonia, started work with Newfield High School as a secretary and then eventually retired from the Mary Haven Center of Hope. She adored her Joseph, loved being a dedicated mother, and was a true friend to so many.
She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, warm and caring nature. She loved flowers and plants, and was known for her creativity with arts and crafts and decorating. She was devoted to her family and friends. She was the one to talk to when you are troubled and one of the first people you would share your triumphs and successes – always there to help and celebrate. Surviving are her three daughters and their spouses: Allyson and James Gilbert, Tracy Rogers, Dana and John Marti; grandchildren, Sean (Jillian), Connor (Chelsey), Taylor, Dana, Cole, Dylan, Ryan, John and Jack.
