Sheila F. Lawlor

Sheila Foley Lawlor passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025, she was 91. Sheila was born and raised in West Orange, New Jersey to her parents: The Honorable Gerald T. Foley and Anne Bennett with her brothers Gerald and David. Sheila graduated from Marymount College in Tarrytown NY. She later married Richard Lawlor and together they raised their 4 children in Convent Station, NJ. She lived her final years in Ocean County.

Sheila is predeceased by her loving husband Richard. She is survived by her children Richard (Sheila), Maureen, Susan, and Ted (Erin). She is also survived by her grandchildren CJ, Ryan, Kennedy, Owen, Liam and Willow.

Sheila always enjoyed singing with her church choir, watching tennis and listening to Billy Joel. However, she was at her best when surrounded by her grandchildren who absolutely adored her. Services for Sheila will be held privately and she asked that a prayer be said in her honor.
