Scott M. Lepeshko Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Scott Lepeshko, a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, who passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 59.
Born on February 11, 1967, in Rahway, New Jersey, Scott was the son of the late Karl and Janet Lepeshko. He lived a life defined by hard work, unwavering devotion to his family, and a generosity that touched everyone who knew him.
Scott was known for his incredible ability to fix just about anything. Whether it was repairing something broken or finding exactly the right part, he had a knack for solving problems that others couldn't. His career reflected those talents, from owning an auto repair shop to working in construction, and most recently serving as a maintenance mechanic for Leisure Village West in Manchester. No matter the role, Scott took great pride in his work and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Above all else, Scott's greatest joy was his family. He shared 33 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Dawn, and together they built a loving home while raising their two children, Hope and Casey, who were the pride of his life. He also adored his grand-dogs, Jackie and Dexter, who never failed to bring a smile to his face.
Scott had a wonderful sense of humor and a gift for making people laugh. He was a true jokester, always ready with a witty comment, a funny story, or a smile that could brighten someone's day. His integrity, kindness, and unwavering loyalty made him someone people could always count on.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Dawn; his daughter, Hope, and her boyfriend, Christopher; his son, Casey, and his fiancé, Victoria; his sister, Cheryl Bertoti, and her husband, Anthony; his nieces and nephews; extended family; and countless friends whose lives were made better by knowing him.
Scott was preceded in death by his infant son, Kory; his brother, Lee; and his parents, Karl and Janet.
Family, friends, and everyone whose life was touched by Scott are invited to celebrate Scott's life on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Avenue, Barnegat, New Jersey 08005. Together, we will honor a man whose love, laughter, and generous spirit will never be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the COPD Foundation in Scott's memory, reflecting the compassion and generosity he showed throughout his life. https://www.copdfoundation.org/Ways-to-Give/Donate/Tribute-Giving.aspx
