Rudolph Perhacs Obituary

Rudy Perhacs passed away peacefully on April 9, 2023 with his loving family at his side. 

He survived by his wife, Kay of 58 years; his two sons, Mark (Dawn), Brian (Jeanna); and four granddaughters, Amber, Sarah, Alexa, and Brianna.

Rudy was a force-recon Marine; honorably discharged in 1961. He was a volunteer fireman in Carteret, NJ for 18 years and became Chief in 1975. He was a life member of Fire Company #2, Carteret, NJ. He was also a member of the New Jersey Volunteer Fire Chiefs Association. He was a leader for Cub Pack 599 and assistant Scout Master for Troop 86. Rudy worked as a technical sales rep for 35 years before he retired to Barnegat. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 3-7 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ. Mass offered Thursday, 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat.  Interment to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
