Rosemary A. Tackas

Rosemary A. Tackas, 75, of Waretown, NJ passed on Thursday, March 19, 2026. Born in Staten Island, NY to her late parents, Dominic and Sara Marino, she was formerly of Somerset, NJ and has been a resident of Greenbriar Oceanair, in Waretown, NJ for over 20 years.

Rosemary was an accomplished golfer and was a longstanding member of the Women’s Golf League at Greenbriar as well as an active communicant of St. Mary’s Parish.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, David Tackas, she is survived by two loving brothers, George Marino and Thomas and his wife, Sandi Marino; sister-in-law, Arleen Marino; Godson, Jesse Marino (Chelsea Davis).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 3 to 7 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Mass offered Monday, 9:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat. Interment to follow in Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
