Rosemary Lefebvre of Waretown, formerly of Washington Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4th, 2026, with her loving family by her side.

Born on July 22, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York, Rosemary was the cherished daughter of the late Salvatore and Philomina DeMarco.

Rosemary was a dedicated homemaker whose greatest joy came from caring for her family and serving her community. Deeply devoted to her faith, she volunteered countless hours at her church, where she founded a Youth Group folk music ministry that played at Mass. Through her love of music and unwavering support, she touched the lives of many young people, inspiring and encouraging them through both faith and friendship.

In addition to her church work, Rosemary was employed as a physician's office manager before retiring to Waretown. She enjoyed spending time on the golf course with her friends and treasured every moment with her beloved companion, Lou, who brought great happiness and joy to her life.

Rosemary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Lefebvre, who passed away in 2008. They shared 44 years of marriage together.  She is survived by her loving sister, Celeste who resides in Florida.

She was the loving mother of Joseph M.  and his wife, Ann Lefebvre of Pennsylvania , Thomas J. and Lisa Lefebvre of New Jersey, Lori Ann and Joe Sansone of New Jersey and Christine and her husband Chad Morgan of Florida. Rosemary was a proud and devoted grandmother to Kaitlin and her husband Nathaniel Hudson, Abigail and her husband Matthew Gilmore, Margaret, Tyler, Brandon, Douglas, Don Joseph, Grace, and Dimitri. She was also blessed with three precious great-grandchildren, Liam, Luke, and Eli.

Rosemary's warmth, amazing cooking, faith, and spirited personality touched everyone she met. Her love, laughter, and enduring kindness will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.

Viewing services will be private for the family. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at St. Mary's Church in Barnegat located at 747 W Bay Ave, Barnagat, NJ 08005. Flowers are welcomed at the church. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Manahawkin. Repass will follow.
