Rose Yavorsky

Rose Yavorsky, 89, of Barnegat, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on March 25, 2026.

Born and raised in Carteret, New Jersey, Rose later made her home in Barnegat, where she resided since 2002.  She was the youngest of eight children and carried with her a deep appreciation for family throughout her life.

Rose was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a woman of strong faith. She was a dedicated member of St. Mary’s Parish in Barnegat.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Yavorsky.  Rose is survived by her son Michael and his partner Alan; daughter, Debra and her husband Ben; her sister, Mary; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Church, 747 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. (www.BarnegatFH.com) 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
