Robert V. Wolf, aged 79, passed away on June 5, 2026 in Manahawkin, NJ. He was born on July 20, 1946 in Jersey City, New Jersey. As a lifelong educator, Bobby dedicated his career to teaching, remaining in the same elementary school system throughout his tenure. He made lifelong friends not only in his fellow faculty, but also in the young minds he helped to guide into the world. He found profound joy not only in the classroom, but in watching his students grow into the adults they later became. The impact he made on so many lives is just a small testament to the greatness of his legacy.
At the center of his world was his family, in which he held in the highest regard. Bobby shared a beautiful, inspiring 54 years of life and love alongside his beloved husband. Together they traveled the world, building a lifetime of shared adventures. Their photo albums, filled with endless memories, could easily wrap around the world that they got to experience side by side. The half century they spent together is an extraordinary testament to devotion, and is the kind of love those around them could only aspire to experience, deeply rooted, and everlasting.
He gave selflessly to those he loved, always prioritizing the happiness and well-being of his family above all else. For him, loving his family was an active, daily choice. He poured his time, energy and whole heart into ensuring that every person he considered his family knew how cherished they were. This deep, unconditional devotion was felt most by his nieces, whom he and his husband considered their daughters, and loved with the full depths of a parents heart. His warmth, guidance, quiet acts of generosity, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by everyone fortunate enough to have received his love.
Robert is survived by his husband, Stanley Miranda; his brother, Joseph Wolf and his partner, Judy Dalton, his niece, Amanda Pomar, her husband, Marco Pomar, and her son Marco Pomar; and his second niece, Riki Woertz, and her husband Steven Woertz. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Wolf, his mother, Helen Wolf, his sister, Debra Graf, and his great niece, Elia Pomar.
To honor his last wishes, there will be no funeral services, and a private cremation will take place. The family deeply appreciates your love, support, and shared memories during this time.
