Born in Jersey City, NJ to his late parents, Joseph and Mary Laviola, he is survived by his beloved wife, Karen; two loving children, Linda Laviola and Laura, and her husband, Ronald Heinzman; two cherished grandchildren, Mia and Sophia and his brother, Joseph Laviola.
