Robert J. Grivner

Robert J. Grivner, age 66, of Barnegat, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 21, 2024, in Stafford Township, NJ. Born on October 13, 1957, in Bloomfield, NJ, Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Patrice Grivner, his loving daughter Beth Mack and her husband Jeffrey Mack, and his cherished grandchildren Quincy, Benson, and Maisie. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Roskowski.

Bob was a dedicated employee of General Motors, where he was known as Goosh and worked in their Parts Division for many years. A proud graduate of Bloomfield High School, he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his job.

Bob had a passion for life that was evident in his many interests and hobbies. He was a loyal fan of the NY Yankees and NY Giants, never missing a game. His weekends were often spent exploring yard sales and flea markets, with his dog by his side in the front seat of his pick-up truck. Bob took great pride in maintaining his lawn on his John Deere ride-on mower and enjoyed playing poker with his neighborhood friends in Southampton, PA. He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed watching golf on television.

Bob was known for his sweet tooth and had a particular fondness for desserts and midnight snacks. His family fondly remembers him sneaking into the kitchen late at night for a treat.

A public mass to honor Bob’s life will be held at The Oratory Church of St. Anthony of Padua in Red Bank, NJ, on Thursday, June 27th, at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the US Hereditary Angioedema Association (haea.org), a cause close to their hearts.

Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, loyalty, and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
