Robert Ferchak Obituary

Robert J. Ferchak, 86, of Barnegat passed on Friday, December 7, 2018. Born in Elizabeth, NJ to his late parents John and Mary Ferchak, he is a US Navy Veteran of The Korean War. He formerly resided in Toms River and Holmdel, NJ where he worked as an electrical engineer for AT&T. As a member of the research and development team, he helped to design the first picture phone.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 66 years, Frances Ferchak; four loving children and their spouses, Carmel and Joseph Molyneux, Karen and Hal Bauman, Robert and Marylou Ferchak, Michele and Peter Loscocco; ten cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Melissa, Leann, Tina, Shelly, Bobby, MaryBeth, Karen, Zach and Matt; three cherished great grandchildren, Colton, Jack and Chase.

Viewing Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 9 to 11 AM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Mass of Christian Burial will follow 11:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat. Entombment will follow in Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
