Robert H. Boyars, Jr.

Robert H. Boyars, Jr., 81, of Ocean Twsp., NJ passed on Monday, February 9, 2026 peacefully at home. Born in New Brunswick, NJ to his late parents, Robert H. and Mary Boyars, he was raised in Perth Amboy, NJ and was a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. Known as “Radio Bob”, he moved to Waretown in 1999 and was a life member of the American Legion Post 232, Barnegt, NJ.

He is survived by his loving sons, Scott and his wife, Tara Boyars and Robert H. Boyars, III and wife, Melissa; three cherished grandchildren, Sean and Abby Boyars and Joel Eisenman and his wife, Christy; six adored great-grandchildren. 

A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, February 13, 2026 at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat. Private Cremation to follow.  (www.BarnegatFH.com)
