Richard (Rick) Randol, 68, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Born on August 3,1956 in Denver, Colorado, he was raised in Des Moines, Iowa. After graduating high school, Rick joined the Navy and served with honor and distinction aboard the USS Andrew Jackson, a nuclear submarine stationed at New London, Connecticut. While serving, Rick fell in love with the East Coast and the Atlantic Ocean. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Rick began working at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station in Lacey Township. While working at Oyster Creek, Rick met the woman who would become his wife, Kendall.
Rick also worked as a computer technician for the Ocean County Health Department and the Barnegat and West Windsor/Plainsboro School Districts. Rick was a member of the F&AM Mariner’s Lodge and proudly served as Worshipful Master in 1999. He loved being a Free Mason and all that it entailed. He also enjoyed reading and going to the beach during the summer.
Rick is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Kendall, his daughter Samantha and her partner, Nick, and his son James and daughter-in-law Ebony. He lived a full life and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
