Richard J. Kochanski

Richard J. Kochanski, 84, of Barnegat, passed on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin, NJ. Born in Bayonne, NJ, to his late parents, Thomas and Irene Kochanski, he held the distinction of having served in two branches of our armed forces, the US Army and the US Navy. Richard formerly resided in Glenn Ridge, NJ and retired from AT&T. After relocating to Barnegat, NJ he enjoyed many activities at the Four Seasons Mirage and was a long time volunteer at the Southern Ocean County Hospital in Manahawkin, NJ.

He was a devoted husband and father, pre-deceased by his beloved wife of 60 years, Mary (Martin). He is survived by his loving son, Steven, and his wife, Maria, Kochanski, and his two cherished grandchildren, Tyler and Dustin.

Viewing Wednesday, April 1, 2020 from 10 to 11 AM with a Blessing to follow 11 AM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
