Richard A. Eckman, 90, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Born in New York, NY to his late parents, Robert and Mae Eckman, he is predeceased by his beloved wife, Joan Eckman and his sister, Nancy Eckman, and survived by his two loving children, MaryAnne, and her husband, Carlos Cruz and Robert, and his wife, Crista Eckman; cherished grandchildren, RJ, Jacquelyn and Robert Eckman and Christian, Justin, Brian and Devin Cruz; his sister-in-law, Marie, and her husband, Joe Barracatto and his brother-in-law, Robert Botta.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 1 to 4 PM with a Blessing at 4:00 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Private Cremation to follow. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
