Raymond K. Szemborski

Raymond K. Szemborski, 75, of Barnegat, NJ passed peacefully on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at home. He was born in Jersey City, NJ to his late parents, Raymond and Loretta Szemborski, and is a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. A member of the Brotherhood of Carpenters Union Local 157, Raymond formerly resided in Scotch Plains and Edison, NJ before moving to Barnegat 18 years ago. A lifelong NY Giants fan, his greatest pleasure was time spent with his family, especially the grandchildren.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 53 years: Carol A. (Bovasso) Szemborski; four loving children and their spouses, Raymond Szemborski, Kevin and Christine Szemborski, Amy and Paul Coviello, Amanda and Stephen Edwards; nine cherished grandchildren, Sabrina, Amaya, Braden, Ryleigh, Averie, Justin, Jaelyn, Abigail and Ashley.

A Memorial Mass followed by Military Honors will be offered 9:30 AM on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at St. Mary’s Church, 747 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Barnegat Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
