Raymond D. Sambolin, 72, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Friday, September 26, 2025.
Raymomd passed away early Friday morning from complications of cancer. Born in the Bronx, and raised in Queens, New York, he attended Queens College and earned an Associate’s Degree in Business. He was very knowledgeable in many areas; his final career being a Dealer in the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City. Raymond had a love for music and performed opera at Carnegie Hall as well as other venues in New York City. He was also very active in the music program for 28 years at the Presbyterian Church of Toms River. Ray performed in many concerts the church and sang many solos.
He will be greatly missed by his family and community.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Dianna Sambolin; loving daughter, Adriana Espinosa; cherished grandchildren, Isa, Ayla, Elijah, Gabriel and Erza; brothers, David Sambolin and Irving Sambolin; sister, Beverly Sambolin. Predeceased by his mother, Alice Bartolomei and father, Raymond Sambolin.
Memorial Mass to be held at Presbyterian Church of Toms River, 1070 Hooper Ave, on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM.
