Ralph J. Sofia

Ralph J. Sofia, 78, of Barnegat, NJ, passed on Sunday, April 25, 2021 peacefully at home. A devoted husband; he is predeceased by his parents; sister; and his beloved wife, and best friend, Marie, the beautiful bride he met while working for as a computer repair specialist. Having been called to fix Marie's computer was the start of their wonderful life together. Known as Uncle Ralph to all, he was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Ralph liked to go to beach; loved water, martinis and a good laugh. He also loved to talk about old actors and old movies A selfless uncle; loved by all who met him, Ralph left behind his twelve nieces and nephews and twenty-two great-nephews and great-nieces. .

Viewing will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 10 AM - 12 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial with Military Honors to follow 12:30 pm at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat, NJ.  Interment will be in Bg. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Vet. Mem. Cem. Arneytown, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
