Patricia M. Mann

Patricia M. Mann (Patty) sadly passed away on Monday July 8, 2024 surrounded by her family. Raised in Montville, NJ, Patty attended William Paterson University where she met her future husband, Doug, in choir class. Once married, Patty and Doug moved to Denville, NJ on Rainbow Lakes. Eventually settling in Sparta, NJ to start a family, they spent over 30 years in their quirky cabin on Lake Mohawk. They finally decided to say goodbye to lake life and move full time to the beach. They have been living in Manahawkin, NJ for the last 5 years. Patty had a long career in education starting in Byram Township up to her most recent position at Frog Pond Elementary School in Little Egg Harbor Township.
Patty is survived by her beloved husband, Douglas; two loving children, Jessica and her husband, Jeffrey Bruckner, and Michael and his wife, Nicole Mann; mother, Edith Monaco; brother, Michael and his wife, Sharon Monaco; and sister, Catherine Monaco. She is predeceased by her father, Pat Monaco.
Patty surrounded herself with friends and family who shared her love for music, Broadway shows, boating, card games, TJ Maxx, and the beach. Never afraid to share her thoughts and speak her mind, Patty lived her life with no hesitation.
While our hearts mourn her loss, we take pride in her unwavering strength through everything the world threw at her. We are comforted with the knowledge that everyone who knew Patty is a better person because of her. Patty’s memory will be cherished forever.

Visitation will be held on Saturday July 13, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:30 AM with a Funeral Service to begin promptly at 11:30 AM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat.

In honor of her wishes, Patty will be cremated after the service.
