Olivia M. Yacovone

Olivia May Yacovone, 85, of Barnegat passed away on April 17, 2021 from a non-Covid 19 illness. Olivia grew up in Bloomfield, graduating from Bloomfield H.S. in 1953. She worked for Two Guys in Hanover and the U.S. Postal Distribution Center in Kearney before retiring. She also owned her own business, Olivia’s Pub in Phillipsburg, NJ. Olivia loved preparing floral arrangements, doing many different arts and crafts, attending concerts and plays, playing cards (especially at Borgata), and fishing. By far, her favorite thing to do was spend time with her friends and family. 

She was predeceased by her parents, Helen and Albert Kuhrt and husband Frank Yacovone. She is survived by her children, Michael Yacovone, Deborah Santa Maria and her husband John, Maria Yacovone Cardillo, Joseph Yacovone, Paul Yacovone and his partner Valerie Thatcher, John Yacovone,  Frank Yacovone and his partner Marie Deresky. She is also survived by her siblings Dorothy Perrotta, Helen Albrecht, Albert Kuhrt, Roger Kuhrt and his wife Jane, and Joann Johnson, as well as twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and her beloved cat Mr. Bojangles (aka Little Boy)

Viewing Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 4 to 7 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Interment Wednesday 11:30 AM at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
