Michele J. Kilfara

Michele J. Kilfara, 51, of Waretown, NJ passed on  Friday, August 21, 2020 surrounded by loved ones.   Born in Livingston, NJ to her late parents, Leslie and Joan Lerman, she is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Edward; two loving daughters, Jessica and Alexa and many loving relatives and friends. She is also pre-deceased by her brother, Brad Lerman and her grandmother May Wilensky.

Known for her smile that would light up a room and her extremely generous personality.  She was known by many as Aunt Shelly and lovingly as “Mish”. 

Michele was also known to bake the best brownies and Rice Krispie treats that were enjoyed by all.  

Michele was employed by the Ocean County Judiciary in the Family Division for 30 years retiring in 2019.

She was a rare gem with a loving spirit unmatched by none.  She leaves behind a void that can never be filled and many broken hearts.
