Michael P. Smith

Michael P. Smith, 80, of Barnegat, NJ, passed on Monday, April 12, 2021 peacefully at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he retired from the New York Police Department after twenty years of serviceis and is a United States Marine Corp Veteran.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Marie; three loving children, Michael F. Smith (Laura), Donna Smith and JoAnn Hoffman (David); two loving step-children, Stefanie Kane and Jacqueline Christiano; ten cherished grandchildren, Michael Jr. (Alexandra), Amanda, Gillian, Alex, Jessica, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Madeline, Charlotte and Max; two sisters, Marciia and Joan. He is predeceased by his older brother, Lester and his younger sister, Phyllis.
