Michael W. Mastropierro

Michael Mastropierro, 69, of Barnegat, New Jersey passed on Sunday, March 19, 2023. Born in Jersey City, NJ, to his late parents Frank and Francesca Mastropierro where he resided before he moved to Ocean County.  He had been employed by the Central Regional School District, Bayville, New Jersey.  Michael had great appreciation for music beginning from a young age and continuing throughout his life by playing in various bands over the years. He enjoyed crabbing and watching sports but his greatest joy was his grandchildren.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 42 years, Maureen (McCarthy) Mastropierro: his loving son, Michael and his wife Fallon: three cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Anthony and Matthew: two devoted sisters, Diane O’Keeffe, Susan and her husband Oscar Molina: brother in law Kevin and his wife Gerry McCarthy as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 3 to 7 PM at the Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ.  Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 11:30 am on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat. Interment to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River.
