Michael I. Jacobs

Michael I Jacobs, 67 of Surf City NJ passed away on October 2, 2025. He enjoyed bicycling, playing backgammon, traveling abroad and exploring NYC.  Michael enjoyed helping people and participated in volunteer activities at New York City, Long Beach Island and former residences. Michael was outgoing, enjoyed meeting new people, as well as staying connected and reconnecting with friends from childhood and throughout his career. He enjoyed hosting guests at LBI and New York City.

Surviving him are his wife Karen (Bauer) Jacobs of 44 years; his mother in law Cathy Bauer; his sister and brother in laws Albert and Eileen Bauer, Michael Bauer, Susan and Scott Burd, Lisa and Bill Walker, Teresa and Brad Case and 12 Nieces and Nephews.  He is also survived by his Aunt and Uncle Marcia and Martin Kosmin and their children Sharon, Terry, Rachel and David. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Rhoda (Miller) Jacobs and father in law Albert Bauer.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday October 6th, at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat NJ.
