Michael Coleman

It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Michael Coleman, 58, of Barnegat, NJ. He passed peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024 holding hands with “Kat”, his wife and middle school sweetheart. 

Michael was predeceased by his parents, Thaddeus and Virginia Coleman, beloved in-laws Nicholas and Helen Linico, grandparents, brother and sisters, many special aunts and uncles, and his favorite dog, Piggy Girl.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Kathy Coleman, daughter Cady Kramer and husband Carlton Kramer, daughter Mandy Hojnowski and husband Ryan Hojnowski, and dearly loved granddaughters Carmella Kramer and Nora Hojnowski.  

Michael was born and resided in Trenton, NJ before moving to Beachwood, NJ where he and his wife raised their family.  He was a Master HVAC tech, and eventually started his own business, Coleman Quality. Michael took pride in being able to fix anything.   After retiring, he worked side by side, with his daughter and son in law at their restaurant, where he took the official title as the “Biscuit King”.  

Michael had simple but meaningful pleasures that filled his life with great joy.  He was the biggest kid around, had fun with all of his toys, loved being on the water, at the beach, boating, and fishing, enjoying all the Philadelphia sports games, eating chicken wings (extra crispy, extra sauce and bleu cheese on the side), but mostly being surrounded by his “people”, especially his girls.  He was so looking forward to welcoming a grandson into our family.  His “happy place” was in “The Carolinas”, especially Sunset Beach.  

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at a later date.
