Michael J. Addesso

Michael J. Addesso, 67, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Born in Hoboken, NJ to his late parents, Ann Marie and Michael Addesso, Mike is survived by the love of his life, Joann Aurelio; sister Kathleen DiSanto, her husband John, nephew John(Wendy & daughter Charlotte), and niece Kristin(Tim); brother Kevin Addesso, his wife Daryl, nieces Sydney and Nikki; brother David Addesso, his wife Claudia, nephew David and niece Jessica. Mike is also survived by his aunts, uncle and cousins whom he adored and cherished.
Mike was a fun loving and outgoing character who made everyone laugh whether at work or at play and no matter how well you knew him, you loved him. Mike loved his family and friends and valued each and every one of them beyond measure. His favorite moments were spent at the beach or on vacations traveling all over with his sweetheart. Mike was an avid sports fan who was crazy about the NY Yankees, Giants, Rangers and the PGA! He loved playing golf or bocci ball with friends and neighbors and he had a zest for life that was absolutely contagious! Mike will be so missed by so many and his stories will live on and be told (though not nearly as funny as when told by him) with laughter and love forever.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 9 to 11 AM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Mass to follow, 12:00 PM at St. Pius Church, 300 Lacey Rd, Forked River, NJ 08731. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
