Mary Ganter Obituary

Mary A.Ganter, 98, of Barnegat passed away peacefully June 19th, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Jersey City, she lived in West Caldwell before moving to Barnegat in 2007. She was a graduate of Saint Dominic's Academy in Jersey City and employed by the railway express agency. Mary devoted most of her life to raising "her boys", sons George and Robert. Later in life she worked for Economics Press in Fairfield. Mary loved the New York Yankees, Notre Dame football and Friday night cocktail parties with her family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Thomas Glynn, a brother Thomas and his wife Eileen, a nephew Tommy and her sister Elizabeth. She is survived by her son George and his wife Anne, son Robert and nieces Kathleen Smith and husband Joseph, Theresa Rocchio and husband Patrick and Regina Pugliese and husband Joseph as well as numerous grand nieces and nephews.
She will be dearly missed by her loving and devoted family.

A private service will be held on June 23rd 2022 at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
