Martin R. Hake

Martin R. Hake, 84, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Born in Brooklyn, NY to his late parents, Theodore and Mary Hake, he was a United States Naval Air Veteran and was employed for Con Edison for 43 years. Martin was a proud member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara T. (Taranto); loving son, Robert Hake and his wife, Suzanne; loving daughter, Ann Marie Hughes; four cherished grandchildren, Kayleigh, Finbar, Teddy and Alexander; two great-grandchildren, Max and Carmine; sister, Susan Surplus and husband, William.  

A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat, NJ.
