Marjorie Doerr (nee Faulkner), 93 passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her family on October 9, 2020. For the past 17 years she was a resident of Little Egg Harbor, moving back to the state after several years in Cary, N.C. Most of her adult life was spent in Palmyra, NJ. She was born in Scranton, PA the daughter of Albert and Gertrude Faulkner, where she enjoyed being surrounded by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Marge will be remembered for her love of reading, writing short stories, theater and politics. She was a member of several theater groups over the years. Most recently she was one of the founding members of the Sunrise Bay Players.
Marge is survived by her husband of 29 years, Frederick W. Doerr, III as well as her daughter, Sharon Pastras (Thom Hogan), Manahawkin, NJ, her son, Charles (Eileen) Young, Delran, NJ and her son-in-law John Boswell, Ocean City, NJ. She is predeceased by her daughter, Shelley Boswell.
