Marie J. Amodeo, 97, of Manahawkin, NJ passed on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
Marie was a proud graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Paterson, NJ. She furthered her education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University. Her commitment to healthcare shone brightly throughout her esteemed career.She retired as a Supervisor of Nursing from United Hospital of Newark, NJ.

Pre-deceased by her parents, Carmen and Lillian LaTorre; sister, Clara LaTorre, brother Carmen LaTorre; and her beloved husband, Frank D. Amodeo, she is survived by family and friends whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Mass offered 12:30 PM at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat. Entombment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
