Obituary
Maria Lourdes Moreno, 61, of Barnegat, NJ passed away on April 20, 2023 after a her battle with colon cancer. Maria Lourdes was born on August 4, 1961 to Fedelina Delgado and Jose Manuel Fernandez in San Cristobal Pinar Del Rio, Cuba. On March 17, 1979, Maria married Thomas Moreno, Jr. in Newark, NJ. Maria and Tom went on to have 3 children, Thomas Moreno Jr. II in 1979. Tanya Lyn Moreno in 1981, and Shelley Marie Moreno in 1982.
Maria was a wonderful devoted mother and one of the kindest and most giving souls. She was loved by everyone who met her and will be unimaginably missed.
Maria was predeceased by her mother and father. She is survived by her 3 kids Thomas Moreno Jr II, Tanya Lyn Altmajer, Shelley Marie Dimondi, her loving brothers, Manuel Jesus Fernandez and Jose Fernandez Jr. Her loving twin sister, Rosa Maria Fernandez.
Maria's wish is to have a Graveside Ceremony which will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Hollywood Memorial Cemetery 1500 & 1621 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, NJ 07083 (www.BarnegatFH.com)
