Maria H. Quinones

Maria H. Quinones, 87, of Barnegat, NJ passed peacefully at home on Saturday, September 2, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lares, Puerto Rico to her parents, Juan and Maria Quinones, she formerly resided in Edison, NJ for many years and worked for the Clorox Company. Being the youngest of thirteen children, she was taught to be resourceful, even to repair automobiles and would sooner try to fix any mechanical item than run out and buy a new one. Maria loved the shore and being by the water.

Surviving are her good friend, Bernice Butler and her two children, David Butler (Frances), Daniel Butler; four grand children Davis, Danny, Andrew and Lauren; four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 5 to 8 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat. Mass of Christian Burial will be offfered 10 AM on Thursday at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
