Margaret Patella

Margaret Patella, 91, of Forked River, NJ passed on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Born  and raised in Jersey City, NJ by her late parents, Walter and Margaret Hanley, she formerly resided in Barnegat, NJ. After the passing of her husband of 66 years, Robert, in 2023, she went to live with her granddaughter, Heather and husband, Frankie Gagliano.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert, she is survived by her three loving children, Margaret Farrell, Robert Patella and  Maureen Springer; six cherished grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 4 to 8 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ.  Interment to be held Friday at Bg. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Vet. Mem. Cem., Arneytown, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
