It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Margaret Guittari, who left us on January 22, 2025 at the age of 92.
Margaret was a lifelong resident of Jersey City. She was a member of Saint Nicholas’s Church, The Lady of Fatima and the Dante Alighieri Society. She was a resident of Barnegat, New Jersey where she enjoyed many happy days relaxing by the ocean.
While working days at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company she attended Seton Hall at night and earned a BA in education. She continued her education and obtained two Masters Degrees.
Margaret was a dedicated third grade teacher for 40+ years in The Little Ferry school district. She retired in June 1998. She touched the lives of many students.
Beloved daughter of the late Nicholas and Josephine Guittari. Loving sister of Jean Guittari. Margaret was the dear cousin to many and friend to numerous people.
We celebrate her life well lived. We will miss her greatly. She is home at last.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat, NJ. Entombment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
