Madeline Picco

Madeline Picco, 92, of Barnegat, NJ, passed on Thursday, January 26, 2023. Born in Brooklyn, NY to her late parents, Ignazio and Caroline Caracappa, she formerly resided in Staten Island, NY for close to 50 years where she was the owner of Balloon Bonanza, before moving to Barnegat 40 years ago.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Carnie, she is survived by her two loving children, Caroline Nicosia and her companion, Daniel J. Pragl and John C. Picco; cherished grandson, Salvatore C. Nicosia, Jr.; as well as many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother, Frank Caracappa and sister, Mary Campione.  

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 3-7 PM with a Blessing to begin at 7:00 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ. Funeral Service Wednesday to begin at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home, followed by Entombment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin.  (www.BarnegatFH.com)
