Luke Viscel Obituary

Heavens Skatepark Welcomes Luke Anthony Viscel, August 3, 1992 - June 29, 2025.

Luke Viscel, beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend, passed away leaving behind a legacy of joy, laughter, and an untamed spirit. Since he was a little kid, Luke lived on his skateboard—pushing limits, chasing lines, and inspiring everyone who watched him ride. He was a true skater at heart, seeing the world as one big playground where no rules could contain his creativity.

Luke was the kind of person who lit up every room with his smile. He loved to make people laugh, always quick with a joke or a goofy grin that could lift anyone’s mood. His humor was infectious, his spirit unstoppable, and he shared that joy freely with everyone he met.

Beyond skateboarding, Luke’s love for music was deep and personal. He could lose himself in songs for hours, sharing playlists with friends or blasting his favorite tunes during late-night skate sessions. Music and skating were the twin rhythms of his soul.

But most of all, Luke loved his family. He was a fiercely loyal son and brother, always there when you needed him, always showing love in big and small ways. His family was his foundation, and he never forgot it.

Luke is survived by his loving mother, Pamela; his father, Terry; his sisters, Kristina and Michelle; his brother, Christopher Jr.; his grandmother, Janet; his grandfather, Gene; his uncles, Walter, Dean, Timothy, Tony and Charlie; his nephews, Ashton, Damien, and Wyatt; his niece, Amber; and his brother by bond, not by blood, Joey.

Luke’s light was truly amazing. Though he's gone far too soon, his skateboard soul will ride through heaven forever—landing impossible tricks among the stars, smiling that big, beautiful smile, and watching over us all. He will be missed beyond words.

Our family warmly invites all who knew and loved Luke to join us in celebrating his life:
