Lucille Mankowsky

Lucille Mankowsky, 85, of Waretown, NJ passed on Friday, November 21, 2025. Born in North Bergen, NJ to her late parents, Carmen and Antoinette DeTitta, she was formerly of Haskell, NJ and has been a resident of Waretown for 20 years. Lucille enjoyed traveling with her husband, exploring nearly every state, at times on the back of his motorcycle. She also had a passion for sewing. Above all, Lucille had a great love for her family.

Survived by her beloved husband, Walter; two loving children, Walter Mankowsky, III and Alan Mankowsky and his wife, Renee; one cherished granddaughter, Ashley, devoted brother, Carmen Detitta and his wife, Della, she is predeceased by her brother, Louis Detitta and her sister-in-law and best friend, Phyllis Detitta.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 12 to 2:30 PM with a Memorial Service at 2:30 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ 08005.
