Lou-Eva Schlatter

Lou-Eva Schlatter, 84, of Barnegat, NJ, joins her beloved daughter, Maureen in Heaven.

Surrounded by her loving family, she passed peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2024.

Born in New York, NY to her late parents, Thomas and Helen Conway, Lou-Eva was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Her family, especially her grandchildren, meant everything to her. She would give her life for her family and was truly one of the most beautiful, sweet women ever. She was also known to have an amazing sense of humor.

Lou-Eva was an active member of the Mirage community in Barnegat, proudly holding the record of the highest score of all in their Women’s Bowling League.

She is survived by her adored husband of 63 years, Frederick; loving son, Charles Schlatter and his wife, Colleen; cherished grandchildren, Julia, Quinn and Beck and her devoted sister-in-law, Maureen Schlatter.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 1 to 4 PM with a Blessing at 4:00 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ.

Interment to be held Monday at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
