Lorraine (Lorri) Sylvester (nee Hudak) born in Elizabeth, lived in Scotch Plains and resided in Barnegat NJ.
She was a graduate of Battin High School, Elizabeth. While residing in Barnegat, she was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church and Light of the World Prayer Group.
She was employed for 35 years at Elizabethtown Gas Company, Union NJ, as Manager of Credit & Collection Department and retired in 1999. After her retirement, for several years, she worked for the Scotch Plains Board of Education as a General Aide at Evergreen School before moving to Barnegat.
She is predeceased by her husband, Al Sylvester, her mother and father, Josephine and Joseph Hudak, her sisters Regina Barone, Joan LaBracio, and Dorothy Hudak.
She is survived by cousins, nieces & nephews, goddaughter, step children, friends, neighbors, and countless other lives whom she has touched over the years.
Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church on Friday November 15th, at 12:30pm. 747 W Bay Ave Barnegat, NJ. All are welcome to celebrate Lorri’s life.
