Leslie P. Shaffer

Leslie P. Shaffer, 82, of Barnegat, NJ passed away on November 14, 2022.  Les was employed in the sales industry and has been retired for the past 20 years. He is survived by his loving wife , Harriet of 53 years, daughter Susan (Kathy) Shaffer, son Michael (Gina) Shaffer, and 3 grandchildren Randy, Alex and Maya. 
Les was an accomplished musician who played the trombone in various clubs in NJ and NY.  His favorite genre was jazz.  His favorite hobby was showing his “57” Thunderbird for which he won numerous awards. Les was also a lover of animals and will be missed by his beloved cat Tinkerbell.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
