Kathleen T. Keating

Kathleen T. Keating, 92 of Barnegat, NJ , formerly of Rockport, Maine and Middletown, NJ passed away peacefully at home Tuesday January 5, 2021 . Surviving are her beloved husband of 68 years, James, her beloved sister, Sheila (New Smyra Beach, Florida), her loving sons Timothy and his wife Holly(Boyton Beach, Florida), Thomas and his wife Joan (Cape May, New Jersey), James and his wife Eileen. (Middletown, New Jersey),  Her cherished grandchildren Thomas, Michael, Courtney, Brian, Theodore and James; great grandchildren Emily, Ashley, Patrick, Claire, Amy and Connor. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many loving friends.  Born in Jamaica, NY , she is predeceased by her parents, Richard and Kathryn Haff.  She graced the earth for over 92 years and  through  her amazing journey she was loving to all she met and loved in return.   She was a bright light  in the universe both interesting and interested.  A great lover of books, travel  and above all her family.   She was passionate about everything she did.  One of her great qualities was her willingness to accept people for who they were.  She was strong in her faith  and her devotion to God. Kathleen was a 5th grade teacher at Harmony school (Middletown, NJ) for 23 years. 

A Mass of Catholic Burial will be offered Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 10AM at St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat NJ.  Interment to follow at Bg. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
