Karen Aldene Magrini

Karen Aldene Magrini, 80, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Born in Hamilton Ontario, Canada, to her late parents, Clare and Betty Osborne, the family moved to Montvale, NJ where Karen graduated from Pascack Valley Regional High School, class of 1962. She formerly resided in Hopatcong, NJ before moving to Barnegat, NJ where she lived for the past 11 years.

Karen was a retired customer service representative with Verizon. She had varied interests, including scrap-booking, where she lovingly preserved the memories of her grandchildren, as well as ceramics, in which she crafted many beautiful pieces. She also researched genealogy and was a true dog lover.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Joseph; three loving sons and their spouses, Joseph and Tracy Magrini, Christopher and Denise Magrini and Brian and Lisa Magrini; cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Joseph, Jr., David, Christina, Brielle, Ava Magrini and Alyson Loscalzo.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025 from 1 to 4 PM with a Blessing to be held at the Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Burial will be in Bg. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Vet. Mem. Cem., Arneytown NJ on Tuesday, January 21 at 1:00 PM. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
